Hello everyone,

Hello visitors,
PopEater recently sat with Mia interviewing her about Jane Eyre, her classiness, and how she is losing her Australian accent.
“Jane Eyre” Star Mia Wasikowska on Keeping It Classy and Losing Her Accent
Mia Wasikowska, the ethereal Australian actress, is barely out of her teens yet already has a resume that people twice her age would envy. In the last couple of years she was Alice in Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and Joni in ‘The Kids Are All Right.’ Now she’s starring in a movie version of the classic brooding and romantic Charlotte Bronte novel, ‘Jane Eyre.’ PopEater spoke with Wasikowska about her uncanny streak of classy roles, taking pointers from Judi Dench and how the ‘Twilight’ phenom owes a lot to Bronte.
Again, thanks to Greg for the interview link.
Hello everyone,
LA Times recently published their interview with Mia Wasikowska. You can read the insightful article below:
Mia Wasikowska: The quiet observer
Last year, she was ‘Alice.’ This year, she’s ‘Jane Eyre.’ With these and other upcoming roles, the shy young Aussie is cementing her spot in Young Hollywood.
Of all the stars Mia Wasikowska saw at Vanity Fair’s exclusive Oscar party last month, Justin Bieber was the one she found most fascinating. There he was, in all his pint-sized teen idol glory, scurrying around the Sunset Tower with Disney star Selena Gomez in tow.
“They were just, like, snickering and running away somewhere,” the actress, 21, recounted.
But unlike Bieber’s legion of screaming tween fans, Wasikowska wasn’t interested in the romantic status of the pair. Instead, she was struck by how many partygoers also seemed unable to tear their eyes away from the young singer.
“I was thinking, ‘Wow, how do you handle that?’” she said. “I’m so curious about people like that.”
